Advanced Mental Health and Wellness is a group of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) specializing in medication management in an outpatient, non-crisis setting.  During a 55 minute initial consultation, one of our national board certified providers will perform a full evaluation of your needs. Together you and your provider will work to formulate a customized treatment plan to address your individual needs. In most cases treatment will include recommendations for prescription medication(s) which will be prescribed to you by your provider.  Most medications can be prescribed during the initial consultation and sent to your requested pharmacy for pick up within 24 hours. Additionally you will be provided with therapeutic insights and interventions tailored to your circumstances and needs.

Follow-up visits are generally scheduled from 1-4 weeks after the initial consultation to discuss the medications efficacy as well as any side-effects. Therapeutic interventions will also be evaluated for efficacy.  During these follow-up visits, medications and therapeutic interventions may be adjusted to achieve the desired outcome for each patient.  If medication is not wanted or not medically appropriate, patients will be referred to counselors outside of our practice.  We offer telemedicine appointments in person and through HIPAA compliant telemedicine available on smart phones, tablets and computers.
