During your 25 minute follow up appointment, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will evaluate your treatment plan to make sure you are progressing towards your goals. We will continue to customize your treatment plan as needed. Your medication management plan will be evaluated and may include dosing changes, change of medication and adding or discontinuing medications as needed. Most medications can be prescribed at the time of your visit and sent to your pharmacy. If medically appropriate, controlled substances can be prescribed. Your follow-up visit will also include evaluation of therapeutic interventions discussed in previous visits. Additional insights and interventions will be discussed and therapeutic treatment plans will be adjusted as needed.
